An American Small Business - Weld Right Iron Works This is a short video documenting my Father and Mother's small business in Boston, MA, which recently closed in 2016, after 52 years in existence. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heS5nOQpHG4
These #oneofakind, breathtaking, #curvedsteel and #glassstaircases with adjacent #steel and #acrylic #suspendedbridge, currently make this private residence a future classic, to be held in high regard, for its bold architectural statement and #innovativedesign. Prior to installation, Blank and Cables transported the behemoth, spiraling steel frames from our #fabricationfacility, to the project site, where a large crane and our skilled crew awaited their arrival. The staircases were then lifted, assembled and welded on-site. #Curvedglass panels, which stretch from the basement to the top floor, were then installed, as well as the steel, #glass and #sandedacrylic bridge; the latter extending over the entryway below. The final compliments to the staircases are the winding #stainlesssteelhandrails and #solidriftwhiteoak treads, all of which perfectly accentuate this future #modernmasterpiece.
